This module I want to look at resistance–as it comes up in our writing and in our lives in general–and explore various ways to meet that resistance.
This week we will look closely at some prose passages and a final Rumi poem so that take on some difficult and often silent subjects.
This week we will explore a variety of writing prompts to work with and through resistance.
Start with the short video to learn the two yoga exercises we are going to be doing this week. This week we are going to be doing stretch pose again, adding breath of fire, to strengthen our navel center. Strengthening our core is so helpful to get through resistance. We are also going to be doing several sun salutations, to get our bodies moving and our energy flowing. Movement is also key to working with resistance. When you are comfortable with the exercises, you can practice with the audio link. As always you can do these yoga exercises separately or combine them with previous yoga sets. And as always, stop the audio at any time to write!
