We must mindfully align and integrate our personal work in order to bring change to our world.

We live in a precarious moment— one swept up by violence, the climate crisis, inequality, misunderstandings, and threats to democracy—and also in a world full of great wonder, joy and love. Our challenge is to live in a way that is integrated, and to use our voices and vision as catalysts for positive changemaking. Change begins from within, and in order to step into our power, we must first overcome the barriers in our personal work that seemingly lead to unconnected, disillusioned, and disempowered lives.

Align Your Story is a collection of writing courses and coaching services crafted with the understanding that we must improve our inner work in order to do good outer work.

Align Your Story is about fully manifesting your voice and creativity through alignment and mindfulness.

I serve professional writers and beginning writers, and help you get over blocks and come to your fullest vision, range, and power as a writer. I seek to empower women (and men) writers, speakers, and executive professionals by aligning mind, body, and spirit into personal and professional work. As a result, those who join the Align Your Story community feel a growth in inner peace, vision, and energy in their own lives, a greater ability to write the work they want to be writing, and more power to effect change in the world around them.

The most remarkable feature of this historical moment on Earth is not that we are on the way to destroying the world — we’ve actually been on the way for quite a while. It is that we are beginning to wake up, as from a millennia-long sleep, to a whole new relationship to our world, to ourselves and to each other.

Joanna Macy

Each thought, each action in the sunlight of awareness becomes sacred. In this light, no boundary exists between the sacred and the profane.

Thich Nhat Hanh

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us… Your playing small does not serve the world. We are all meant to shine. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Marianne Williamson
